Spintires MudRunner is an open-world game that gives you the opportunity to drive through difficult terrain with a realistic piece of Soviet industrial hardware. If you've ever wanted to go on an adventure using the best that the former USSR had to offer, then this is the opportunity that you've been waiting for.
As the name suggests, you're going to be wading through a ton of mud as you try to make it to your destination. Unlike most racing games, there's no real set goal and you don't have a radar screen. You need to make your way through unpaved roads using nothing but a compass and an actual physical map that's represented in game. You need to transport a certain number of logs to your destination without running out of fuel or damaging your truck.
Naturally, this isn't an easy task to do considering the level of standing water that you're up against as well as the ever-present threat of mud. Fortunately, the basic pick up and drop off mechanism is easy enough to handle that you should be able to get a handle on things in no time.
Once you master the basic game, you'll find that each level has three separate bonus objectives. While these don't offer actual in-game rewards, they do count toward the number of achievements recorded in the hall of fame.
